Home Sweet Home!

Whenever Zach and his family come back to Iowa to visit his family in Cedar Rapids I get to come home and stay with mine.  It's great!  I had a busy week at home, but so much fun.  Hung out with the kids as much as possible.  I usually keep them home from daycare so we can play all day.  Of course the kids spent the night my first night in town and then again two more times later in the week.  Tuesday and Wednesday I went with Kim to L.A. which was a blast!

We did a lot all week.  We visited Aunt Linda Shay's beautiful garden, played at the Heins, went to Mercer Park, played baseball, played basketball, went to the farmers market, played games, had Nate's bday dinner and much more.  I was happy to see a lot of friends this week.  Katie Miller and her kids Melanie and Jack, Katie Johnson, Kelli Haught, Megan Cuellar (Mueller) and Luis, Emily Hartwig (Triplett) and her new baby, Kelsie and Jackson Campbell, Pat and Ashley and Kelly Grimm.  Already can't wait to go back!!!

As usual I took a ton of pictures while home so it was hard to pick and choose, plus we did so much so wanted to share.  I didn't add even close to all of them, but added a lot.  Enjoy!

Time to work!  Or maybe just play on all the cool tractors...  This is the scene at the Sundblad house every night.  My brother-in-law, Nate, is working really hard on renovating their house and putting in a pond in their backyard.  It's looking good Nate!

The kids, Conley more so, LOVE helping Dad work outside.  Conley is usually right by his side doing whatever Nate is doing.

We love going to the farmers market on Saturday mornings!  We usually don't buy much, but love to go and walk around and look.  The kids first priority is always to get a snow cone and since Shay changed her mind after she ordered Aunt Jill got a snow cone.  Yes, Jamie and I are wearing our matching 3-Day shirts.  Only long sleeve I had.  It's supposed to be warm by the end of May!

We were throwing the ball on the roof and Conley got one stuck so Aunt Jill had to get up there to get it down.

This was after Con took a bad fall and ended up with a big goose egg on his forehead, poor guy.  The adults were sitting in the garage having some drinks and if you look hard you can see Shay on the left.  She had to pull up a chair and get in the conversation.  And of course it's way past her bedtime.  She was a chatter box and didn't want to leave the conversation.  Like her mother, grandma and aunts, she was afraid she'd miss out on something!

Time for Aunt Jill to go back to Georgia :(   They always pick me up and take me to the airport.  They love getting on the plane and seeing Will. 

Web pals!  The boys playing before it's time for us to get on the plane and head back to Georgia.  If you look closely above Conley's right eye you can see the nice battle wound from playing too hard the night before.  I'm sure it will leave a nice mark!
