Funcrest!

This place is visited often by the Sundblad family!  It is a short walk from their house which is down by the dam and they have good ice cream and burgers!  You can see Shay running over to Grandpa and Conley to see what they are doing.

Iowa Trip in August

Kennedy/Marty Wedding!

Saturday, August 20th was Megan Kennedy's wedding.  She got married to Brian Marty, who she met in Minneapolis and they now live in Billings, Montana where Brian is from.  It was great to see everyone that came back for it.  People that were there from our class were Morgan, Kelsie, Katie, Maureen, Liz, Grimm, Kelli, Mueller, Annie, Schlueter, Alisa, Art, Jake and Mo Payne.  Hopefully I didn't forget anyone. It was a great wedding and reception!

PGA Championship

Just a few pictures from the week of the PGA Championship in Atlanta.  Mom, Dad, Rose and Linda Klein drove down to the tournament.  It was great to see them and I love that they enjoy coming to some of the tournaments.

Zach got me on at TPC Sugarloaf!  I played with one of his college teammates.  I didn't play the greatest, but it was a fun course and I had a great time!

My three amigos that I hang with on the road!  We did dinner, baths and a movie together this night.  My friend Will is in the middle then the Byrd kids are on the outside, Caroline and Jackson.  This is the moment in the night where they finally calm down and just sit and watch a movie, no screaming or crazy kids!  Do I sound like a mom…ugh!

Zach Johnson Foundation Classic

Monday, August 1st Zach held his 1st annual Zach Johnson Foundation Classic.  It was a tournament with a professional and celebrity division and they were each paired with 4 amateurs.  The tournament is just for fun and helps raise money for Zach's Foundation.  His foundation started a program within the schools called Kids on Course.  It helps kids learn and have opportunities they might not get at home.  Some of the Iowa celebrities that played were Tim Dwight, Kurt Warner, Tom Davis, etc.  Some of the professionals included Jonathan Byrd, Stewart Cink, Davis Love III, Rickie Fowler, Taylor Leon and Kyle Stanley.  I took Conley out there for a little while to walk around, meet up with my Dad and of course play with Will since he was out there.

Zach wanted Will to come out on #9 green with him, but Will was a little too shy to go out in front of all the people watching.  I tried to get him to go by himself since it was his Dad's event, but the only way he would go was with Conley.  So, out the two of them went!

I'm sure people were wondering who that other kid was!

This is usually the scene whenever Grandpa is around.  These two LOVE their Grandpa and usually pick him over anyone else!  Thinking he maybe bribes them…  :)

Happy Birthday lil Sis!

Jamie and I were both in town the last weekend in July so we were able to celebrate her birthday as a family!  And we did so twice, birthday dinner one night and birthday lunch the next day!

Of course we had to tell the waitress it was her birthday so we could embarrass her
